NETUM (Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to NETUM) stands behind the quality of the Products sold on our global e-commerce platform. This Warranty Policy outlines your rights and our obligations, designed to comply with key consumer protection laws including the US Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU), and other relevant regional regulations.
2. Warranty Coverage & Duration
- Standard Warranty:We provide a12-month (1-year) limited warrantyagainst defects in materials and workmanship from the date of original purchase for customers worldwide.
- Extended EU/EEA/UK Requirement:In compliance with EU/EEA/UK law, consumers in these regions automatically receive aminimum 24-month (2-year) warrantyfor defects present at the time of delivery. This is your statutory right.
- Commercial/B2B Purchases:Warranty for business customers is12 monthsglobally unless a separate commercial agreement specifies otherwise.
3. Who is Covered?
This warranty extends to theoriginal purchaserof the Product from NETUM or an authorized reseller. Proof of purchase (order number/invoice) is required.
4. What Does This Warranty Cover?
This warranty coversdefects in materials or workmanshipunder normal use and service conditions during the warranty period.
5. What is NOT Covered?
This warrantydoes not cover:
- Damage from accidents, misuse, abuse, neglect, improper installation, or operation outside Product specifications.
- Damage from fire, flood, lightning, power surges, or other external causes.
- Cosmetic damage (scratches, dents) not affecting functionality.
- Normal wear and tear.
- Damage from unauthorized modifications, repairs, or use of non-genuine parts/accessories.
- Consumable parts (e.g., batteries, cables unless defective upon arrival).
- Software issues not inherent to the hardware (covered by separate software licenses/updates).
- Products purchased from unauthorized sellers.
- Products without a valid proof of purchase.
6. Your Remedies Under Warranty
If a defect covered by this warranty occurs, We will, at Our sole option and subject to applicable law:
Repairthe Product using new or refurbished parts.
Replacethe Product with a new or refurbished product of equal or similar functionality.
Refundthe purchase price (or a proportional part thereof, depending on usage and local law requirements).
Important EU/EEA/UK Compliance Note:During the first12 monthsof the EU's 24-month warranty period,We bear the burden of proof. If the product becomes defective within this first year, it is presumed the defect existed at delivery unless We can prove otherwise. After the first 12 months, the consumer may need to prove the defect existed at delivery, in accordance with national law.
7. How to Obtain Warranty Service
Contact Support: Initiate a Return our Customer Support team at support@gzxlscan.com. product details, and a clear description of the defect.
Return Product:Securely package the Product (preferably in its original packaging) . We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping method.
Evaluation & Resolution:Upon receipt, We will inspect the Product. If covered, We will proceed with repair, replacement, or refund. Replacement products may be new or refurbished. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
Return of Replaced/Repaired Product:We will cover shipping costs to return the repaired or replacement Product to you.
8. Warranty Transfer (Limited)
This warranty may be transferable to subsequent ownerswithin the original warranty periodonly if required by local law (e.g., some US states). Proof of original purchase and transfer documentation may be required. The warranty duration does not restart upon transfer.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW:
- THIS WARRANTY IS YOUR EXCLUSIVE REMEDY AND REPLACES ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED (INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE), EXCEPT WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.
- OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE PRODUCT IS LIMITED TO THE PURCHASE PRICE PAID FOR THE PRODUCT.
- WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES (INCLUDING LOST PROFITS OR DATA).
10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
This Warranty Policy is governed by the laws of China,without regard to its conflict of laws principles. However, the mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country or state of residence will apply.

11. Changes to this Policy
We reserve the right to update this Warranty Policy. The latest version will always be posted on our website. Material changes will not apply retroactively to Products purchased before the revision date.
