NETUM RS Finger Ring Barcode Scanner connects to charging dock for data transmission

Note:
This guide applies only to NETUM RS Series barcode scanners.

The RS Series scanner can transmit data to a receiving device through its charging base. However, the connection may sometimes be lost for various reasons, and users may not know how to reconnect it.
This guide provides step-by-step instructions to help you re-establish the connection.
(If the following steps do not successfully restore the connection, please reset the scanner to factory settings and try again.)

Step 1

Check the indicator light.
If the light is solid blue, it means the scanner is currently connected via Bluetooth.
Since the RS Series charging base connects using Bluetooth SPP mode, and the scanner itself can also pair with other Bluetooth devices, it’s easy to confuse the two connections.

Step 2

Simply scan the barcode on the charging base.
Wait about 10 seconds for the connection to complete.
During this time, the indicator light will flash, then turn solid blue once the connection is successful.
